I created this hoodie using an original drawing I made based on the Greek story of Pandora’s Box
As the story goes, Zeus’s daughter and her husband Epimetheus were given a box containing treasures from the gods. They were told not to open the box no matter what, but curiosity got the best of them. As they raised the lid, all of the evils of the world were released, envy, sickness, hate, disease, etc.
What was left behind was hope.
I created the original drawing using pencil and charcoal, which I then transferred and hand screen printed it onto the hoodie.
I embroidered all the edges of the hoodie by hand with X’s.
